ProSharp high volume vacuum cleaners are designed for fine dust, for example sharpening dust or different kinds of powders. Sharpening dust is filter-cloging material and it gets stuck very easily on the filter`s surface. The result is non-working filter. All powder-dust is filter-cloging material. The air-flow in the vacuum is designed different than in other vacuums so that the optimal filter area is accomplished. Practically the filter uses every inch of the trash tank`s inner surface area (optimal filter size!). Filter material is silicon-satured polyester. The filter is available in special materials (teflon or goretex). With these materials, the filtering capasity is 99,8%.

ProSharp recommends to use a vacuum cleaner always when sharpening to expand the life time of the skate sharpener and especially for health reasons.
